We Are The Church- Formed By Faith
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7
FAITH FORMATION: We are called to daily mature in faith individually and together through prayer, study, worship, spiritual disciplines, and mutual support, encouragement and accountability.
Here are some things you can do while we continue to shelter and social distance during the Covid-19 pandemic:
TOGETHER AS A CHURCH
Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30am on Facebook for our online worship experience at https://www.facebook.com/standrewtr/timeline.
You can also access weekly online worship on our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAkMP3J9olOOqcBLba-WBww
or our website ‘Sermons’ page: https://www.standrewtr.org/resources/sermons/
Watch Facebook for live and pre-recorded ‘connections’ videos. Jan Phillips, our Director of Worship, leads a program for our elementary school kids on Tuesdays at 3pm, and also posts a Scripture Reading and artistic journaling video on Fridays. We also have quick two-minute pre-recorded videos with Pastor Erik on Mondays and Thursdays.
Connect with our Pastor’s Blog weekly to reflect on relevant aspects of our spiritual journey. https://www.standrewtr.org/pastors-blog/
Join us on Zoom SOON! We are planning to launch Bible Studies and Faith Discussions on Zoom in the coming weeks. Zoom is a great FREE online meeting/conferencing tool used by GNJUMC, many of our churches, and many companies and non-profits all over the world. INDIVIDUALLY
Choose one of the Gospels and read a few chapters each day so that you finish on Easter Sunday
During this season as we approach Palm Sunday and Easter read each of the four Gospels beginning from Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. (Matthew 21, Mark 11, Luke 19, John 12)
Read a Psalm a day
Pray a Psalm a day
Take time daily to pray for our families, community, nation, and world during this challenging time
Call a friend and pray together
Start a daily prayer journal
Let's continue to be formed (individually and together) in our faith in Jesus Christ!
