This Sunday, November 29, is the first Sunday of Advent. It is a time to wait and anticipate. Remember how giddy you were when the day came to leave for Disney, Six Flags, Grandma’s House, the toy store, or just to go down the shore? After planning and waiting for weeks, the excitement just kept building. “Hurray, we are finally going to the toy store.” As you can imagine, the same is true for Advent. We anxiously await the time to celebrate the coming of Jesus into our world. “Hurray for Jesus!” Pastor Anna begins a new series during this season of Advent, Angels Bending Near. This week’s title is “Zechariah” as told from Luke 1:5-25.
