Summary:

We can become so accustomed to carrying our burdens and staying busy that, like a tired child fighting sleep, we resist the very rest we desperately need. This week, we hear Jesus’ invitation, “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest,” and discover the peace that comes when we finally lay down our burdens and rest in him.
