Following the death of her brother, Lazurus, Martha left the house and went to meet Jesus on the road. She said to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” How many times have we said, “Lord, if you had been here”? or often “Where was God” in the midst of this event? Pastor Anna walks us through this story found in John 11:17-27 and offers us hope that you won’t find in the store, on the internet, or in any other human. Only the hope that Jesus brings through his life and resurrection.
