Have you ever found yourself doing the “up turn” or the “down look”? Let me tell you what I mean. The "up turn” refers to turning your nose up at somebody, the “down look” is looking down on somebody. Either way, these two expressions imply that we think better of ourselves than we do of others. I have to admit, I’m guilty. Whether the person looks different, speaks differently, believes differently, or exists in a different economic status as me, I find myself working hard not to "up turn" or "look down”. Jesus has some very clear teaching on this, a lesson about a speck and a log. Tune in on our website or Facebook page beginning Sunday at 9:30am to hear more about it. We have some exciting news! The building will be open for worship on September 13. Worship times and locations will be the same as they were before Covid-19. There will be some clear rules to ensure safety for all, including registering for worship ahead of time so we do not go beyond a safe capacity. Details will be available soon. The online worship service will continue, and will remain a steadfast part of our worship services from here forward. Whether in person or from home, we will continue to gather in praise and worship to our Lord and Savior!
